Well, not exactly, but he does have a new eardrum! Chris' surgery went well, taking six hours total. The surgeon said that it was a perfect surgery, but that he did not expect Chris' malleus to be fractured along with lots of scar tissue that needed to be cleaned up. (I hope that cliff dive was really worth it.)Who knew that anesthesia can both make you mean and be sick?! Chris is quietly resting at home and he'll be lounging for the next few days with no real strenuous activity for at least six weeks!
